Andrus Beer Trail Race Festival 2024

Andros Secrets presents the first Andrus Beer Trail Race Festival, an exciting three-day event that promises to become a milestone for mountain running enthusiasts and beyond. The organizers of the festival have curated a program that seamlessly integrates sports, culture, and nature appreciation. Their aim is to showcase the island's natural wealth and appeal to enthusiasts of alternative tourism. This special event will take place on 14 - 16/06/2024, on the green island of the Cyclades, Andros, in the traditional settlement of Korthi.

The 1st Andrus Beer Trail Race Festival aims to showcase all the beneficial qualities that the natural environment provides to citizens and help them develop sport awareness with their participation.

 

In a landscape of unparalleled beauty, it will give the opportunity to all mountain running enthusiasts to enjoy 4 wonderful routes of varying distance, altitude difference and degree of difficulty that will surely fascinate them!

 

The Routes of Andrus Beer Trail Race Festival

Gerakones Challenge route

The Gerakones Challenge, which is the largest and most demanding route of 30 km and 1790 m of positive altitude difference. The nature of the race route is technical, requires good fitness and is aimed at well trained runners with similar mountain race experience.

 

Korthi Adventure route

Our middle route, called Korthi Adventure, with a length of 15 km and a positive altitude of 645 meters, is addressed to experienced athletes who want to do a strong training for the upcoming big races of the summer and to younger athletes who want to raise their level.

 

Grias Pidima Encounter route

The Grias Pidima Encounter, which is an easy route of a total length of 5 km and a positive altitude difference of 265 m, purely for recreation. It aims to bring asphalt runners to the trails of mountain racing!

 

Future Champions route

Lastly, Future Champions route, which is 1 km long, is addressed to our young friends and aims to bring them in contact with nature and introduce them to alternative forms of activities and sports. 

 

Trail Pro has taken over the technical direction, taking care of the excellent marking, the program flow and the safe movement of the athletes. The electronic timekeeping of the races has been taken over by Chronosystems, guaranteeing the fast and correct announcement of the results.
