Travel to Andros

Andros is one of the closest islands to Athens just 2 hours by ferry from the Port of Rafina. Andros is the second biggest island of the Cyclades and is located 37 nautical miles from Attica. You can reach it by ferry from Athens from the port of Rafina or other nearby islands such as Tinos, Mykonos and less often Syros, Paros and Naxos.



Travel by Ferry

Ferries to Andros depart from Rafina port (not from Piraeus port). There are 3 ways to get from Athens to Rafina. By taxi, by car or by bus from Nomismatokopio metro station and you can see the itineraries here. Rafina port is located relatively close to Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". The bus route between Rafina port and the airport of Athens lasts about 30 minutes and you can see the timetable here. The transportations are made by ferries from three companies Golden Star Ferries, Fast Ferries and Sea Jets.
