Stamatis tavern has been operating since 1965 and is one of the most popular options for a good meal in Batsi of Andros. It is a member of the Aegean Cuisine network that promotes Aegean cuisine and its products around the world.

Stamatis continues the tradition of his father Giannis and his grandfather Stamatis, cooking traditional homemade recipes, with flavors from Andros and all over Greece. The tavern is open all year round offering a wide variety of Andriot recipes such as local sausages, fourtalia, rooster with spaghetti and seafood of the day, delicious lobster spaghetti, excellent handmade salads and an updated list of wines from Greek wines.

The restaurant has a large space and you can enjoy your meal either at the tables set in the picturesque alley and on the terrace with a wonderful view of Batsi Bay.
